Miriam Reiss is a Researcher in the research group Health Systems and Health Policy at IHS. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from University of Vienna and has recently started her PhD studies in health economics at Technical University of Munich.

Her research interests lie mainly in health economics, health policy analysis, health services research, and comparative studies in health care systems. She is regularly involved in projects for the European Commission, including PERISCOPE, SELFIE, and SIMCor. Her research has been published in renowned journals and she has presented at various international conferences.
