Siegfried Eisenberg is part of the research group Health Systems and Health Policy at IHS. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and is currently pursuing a PhD in health economics. After working for five years at the Vienna University of Business and Economics in the research group Economics of Ageing, he joined the SARS-Cov-2 crisis team of the Federal Ministry of Health in Austria where he led the group for data analysis.
His research focuses on the burden of diseases from a public health and economic perspective with the aim to provide evidence for public health measures. He has gained strong experience in quantitative data analysis from numerous research projects and presented at several conferences, e.g., in 2022 at the World Congress on Public Health and at the European Conference on Public Health. -
