Committee on Ethics and Research Integrity

The Ethics Committee at IHS plays a key role in upholding the ethical standards of the Institute’s research activities. It ensures that all scientific research conducted by Institute staff meets ethical guidelines.

As a service and advisory body, the committee reviews ethical concerns in studies involving vulnerable populations or sensitive topics.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing guidance on the ethical approval of research projects
  • Advising Institute leadership on specific ethical matters
  • Raising awareness of ethical considerations among researchers at the Institute.
