Committee on Ethics and Research Integrity
The Ethics Committee at IHS plays a key role in upholding the ethical standards of the Institute’s research activities. It ensures that all scientific research conducted by Institute staff meets ethical guidelines.
As a service and advisory body, the committee reviews ethical concerns in studies involving vulnerable populations or sensitive topics.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing guidance on the ethical approval of research projects
- Advising Institute leadership on specific ethical matters
- Raising awareness of ethical considerations among researchers at the Institute.
