Laura Wiesböck receives Vienna Science Award

IHS Senior Researcher Dr. Laura Wiesböck has been awarded the "Wissenschaftsförderungspreis der Stadt Wien 2024".

The award, endowed with €4,000, is granted annually by an independent expert committee and recognizes outstanding overall contributions in the field of science.

This marks the sixth honor for the sociologist's scientific achievements. (Käthe Leichter Prize 2021, Danubius Young Scientist Award 2020, Kurt Rothschild Prize 2019, Bank Austria Research Award 2018, and Theodor Körner Prize 2016). The award ceremony will take place on November 27, 2024, at Vienna City Hall. IHS extends its heartfelt congratulations!
