Eurostudent 8 Final Conference
EUROSTUDENT 8 Conference
"Reshaping Higher Education: Inclusivity, Innovation, and Resilience in a Complex Post-Pandemic Era"
The EUROSTUDENT 8 conference held in cooperation with the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) aims to shed light on the evolving social and economic conditions of students in European higher education. Central to our discussion is the theme of inclusivity, innovation, and resilience, particularly in an era marked not only by the pandemic but also by geopolitical conflicts and economic uncertainties. This theme underlines our discussions, emphasising the need to adapt and evolve in response to recent global challenges. As a key part of this dialogue, we draw upon the comprehensive data collected by the EUROSTUDENT project, which provides cross-country comparisons on various aspects of student life. These insights, including recent focuses on discrimination, digitalisation, ongoing COVID-19 impacts, and mental health and well-being, are critical for understanding and addressing the challenges students face in today's educational landscape.
EUROSTUDENT invites the involved ministries, researchers, and stakeholders, as well as other scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and students involved in (comparative) higher education research and policy to contribute to a deeper understanding of the student situation in Europe and discuss strategies for fostering more inclusive, innovative, and resilient educational systems.
We especially welcome contributions that explore the student experience, educational policy impacts, and the evolving educational landscape.
