As of September 1, 2024, the research group for Macroeconomics and Business Cycle at IHS will have new leadership. Michael Reiter has voluntarily stepped down from his role as head of the unit to focus more on his research. The economists Sebastian Koch and Leopold Sögner, both long-time members of IHS, will jointly lead the group on an interim basis.
