IHS reorganizes its research units

As of early 2025, IHS has reorganized its research units. The Institute's applied basic research and its impartial scientific policy advice on key economic and social issues will now have an even sharper focus.

Each of the six research groups concentrates on a specific policy area: Economy and Finance, Labor, Education, Social Affairs, Innovation, Health. The work of these research groups is supported by the CompetenceCenter for Survey Research. The newly established CompetenceCenter Survey Research supports the research groups' work on evidence-based findings and decision-relevant facts. It develops innovative solutions for surveys, provides guidance on the implementation and provides access to new data sources for scientific use.

Details on the research units can be found here.
