Felix Schröter has been the Head of the research group Labor Markets and the World of Work at IHS since January 2025. After receiving his PhD in Economics from the Friedrich-Alexander University in Nuremberg, Germany, in 2017, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the ifo Institute in Munich, Germany, as a research analyst at the Austrian National Bank (OeNB) in Vienna, and at the German Pension Insurance in Berlin.
Felix joined IHS in 2023 and is part of the Institutes' forecasting team. His research interests include the analysis of labor markets and labor market policy. He applies both quantitative empirical methods and structural macroeconomic modeling. His work focuses on the analysis of long-term structural transformation, such as demographic change. He also conducts research on modeling the consequences of structural reforms and of economic and fiscal policy. -
