  • Ingrid Marin has been working as a Student Assistant at IHS since 2024 and is a member of the research group Social Sustainable Transformation. She is currently completing a Master's degree in Science Technology Studies at the University of Vienna. She holds a Bachelor's degree in social communication with a specialisation in social management.

    In her Master's thesis, she addresses the question of how start-ups produce high-risk AI, examining the use of data, decision-making processes, the evaluation of AI and social impacts. She applies qualitative methods to this end. Prior to IHS, she worked for government agencies, IT and telecommunications companies, universities and social organizations, where she gained practical insights into the implementation of technology projects, training technologies, disseminating scientific research, public affairs and strategic communication. Her research interests include ethical and social impacts of technology, AI governance and public policy design.
