Judith Engleder joined IHS in 2018 and is part of its Competence Center Survey Research. She holds degrees in Education Science as well as Sociology from the University of Vienna and studied Socioeconomics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) and Aston University in Birmingham, UK. During her studies, she gained research experience in various positions as student assistant.
Judith’s research focuses on social inequalities in higher education, particularly in the transition from school to higher education, international mobility, and students' study and living conditions. She specializes in quantitative and mixed-methods research, with a focus on microdata analysis and interviews. Judith coordinates and works on large-scale national surveys, including the Austrian Student Social Survey and the Austrian Matura Student Survey. -
