Pauline Reitzer has been a Junior Researcher in the Junior Research Group Digitalization and Social Transformation at IHS since January 2025. Pauline holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organization Studies from Tilburg University and an Erasmus Mundus Master in Global Studies from the Universities of Leipzig and Vienna.
Her research interests specifically lie in Digital Democracy and Participation, Technofeminism, Conversational AI, Digital Humanism, Critical Data Studies and Computational Social Science. For her Master’s thesis, Pauline investigated discrimination risks embedded in chatbot technology through a case study of the AMS Berufsinfomat, the chatbot of Austria’s public employment service.
