  • Sabine Neuhofer has been working at IHS since 2021 and is a Researcher in the research group Social Sustainable Transformation. She completed her doctorate in Sociology at the University of Vienna in 2020. Before joining  IHS, Sabine was a post-doc at the University of Vienna's Institute for Economic Sociology. Her academic path includes interdisciplinary projects and research stays in Oxford, Tianjin, Bremen and Innsbruck.

    Her research interests range from individual preferences and financial literacy to digitalization and societal change. Her current research focuses are science for policy and digital financial education. Sabine combines qualitative and quantitative social science methods in her research. A particular focus of her approach is the design, implementation and analysis of behavioural experiments in laboratory and field settings.
