Carina has been working as a Staff Scientist at the IHS since 2022 and is part of the research group Social Sustainable Transformation. With a Master's degree in Science Technology-Society Studies and an ongoing second Master's degree in Gender Studies, Carina is deepening their knowledge in transformation research from a queer-feminist and climate-just perspective. After completing the Bachelor's degree in Public Governance across Borders, which included political science (major), public administration and law (minor) in various European countries, Carina gained experience in different fields, including the German Bundestag, a think tank, NGOs and the University of Vienna.
Carina has competences in qualitative research approaches, including ethnography, feminist memory work, and participatory methods. There is a strong interest in exploring innovative methodologies that address inequalities in research and contribute to inclusive knowledge production. -
