  • Anna Dibiasi studied sociology and political science at the University of Vienna and Socioeconomics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Since 2014, she is a member of the research staff at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS). During her studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business she was teaching assistant regarding the application of complex quantitative methods and from 2012 to 2014 student assistant at the IHS.

  • Her research interests include difficulties and social inequalities in the transition from school to higher education, as well as the design of the first study phase in higher education, with a focus on gender and/or STEM.


    Her methodological focus is primarily on quantitative analysis methods. She is involved (in some cases primarily responsible) in the implementation of numerous large national scientific surveys (online surveys), such as the Austrian Matura Student Survey and the Austrian Student Social Survey, from the conception of the survey to the scientific analysis of the results.
