Dominik Walch is a Researcher in the Research Group Labor Markets and the World of Work. He joined IHS in 2006. After graduating in economics from the University of Vienna, he received a master’s degree in economics from the University of Arizona.
Dominik is an expert in the analysis of administrative data from the Austrian social security system. His work includes the design and implementation of data frameworks that integrate data from different sources and incorporate financial flow information, as well as the development of new labor market indicators, interactive visualizations and dashboards. His main research interest is the analysis of labor market dynamics and labor market transitions. His current work focuses on transitions from the labor market to the pension system together, with the associated financial flows and their fiscal implications. -
