Fellows at IHS

The institute collaborates with a number of researchers across Europe, many of whom are associated as fellows.

  • Axel Sonntag is a Behavioral Economist with expertise in experimental economics and the causal evaluation of policy measures. After studying Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) he defended his doctoral thesis in 2012 (with distinction) and took a Research position at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK. In 2015 he returned to Austria to take on the position of an Assitant Professor at the Vienna Center for Experimental Economics of the University of Vienna, and joint IHS in 2018.
