Ines Fortin is a Senior Researcher in the research group Business Cycles, Growth and Public Finances. She joined IHS in 1998, after completing the Postgraduate Program in Quantitative Finance at IHS. She received her PhD in Economics from the University of Vienna, Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics in 2004. She has been a member of the IHS economic forecast group since 2003 and a participant in the joint economic forecast in cooperation with the RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research since 2014.
Her research focuses on behavioral economics and finance, sustainable finance, applied econometrics, and business cycle analysis. Her work has been published in international journals, including the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Empirical Finance, Journal of Forecasting, and Empirical Economics. -
