  • Liliana Mateeva has been a Researcher at IHS since 2002 and part of the research group Social Sustainable Transformation since 2025. She holds a Master's degree in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia (Bulgaria) and a doctorate in National Economy from the Economic Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

    Liliana is involved in national and international projects and focuses on economic impacts in areas such as energy transition, sustainability, corporate SDGs, and employment (including women, gender gaps, skilled workers for the energy transition), as well as the economic assessment of new technologies. She works on projects examining economic effects based on Input-Output-Analysis and also uses a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods for her research.
