Lucas Meyer has been working at IHS as a Student Assistant since 2023 and is part of the research group Social Sustainable Transformation. He is currently completing a Master's degree in Sociology and a Bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Vienna. Prior to that, he completed a Bachelor's degree in sociology at the University of Vienna with a semester abroad at the University of Copenhagen.

His research interests lie at the intersection of sociological and psychological perspectives with a particular focus on social inequality, discrimination and empirical research. He applies both qualitative and quantitative social science methods in his work.
