The research group Labor Markets and the World of Work studies structural changes in employment, unemployment, and income in imperfect labor markets and evaluates the effects of labor market institutions, such as minimum wages, and labor market policy.

The methodological scope ranges from the analysis of administrative microdata to quantitative structural modeling. A new research focus to be developed deals with the operational organization of work, workplaces and personnel management.
