Social Cohesion and Polarization
The IHS's expertise in social and equality policy is concentrated within the research group Social Cohesion and Polarization. The group's work focuses on inequality and poverty at an aggregate level, as well as the determinants and consequences of a lack of participation and exclusion at an individual level.
The group also addresses e specific problems of disadvantaged groups, particularly women and people with a migration background, and evaluates measures to overcome them.
