The objective is to assess the growth and employment impacts of the Austrian Renewable Energy Expansion Act, especially the green electricity billion. To calculate the economic impacts, the already existing input-output model at IHS will be extended by the corresponding energy satellite accounts and scenarios will be developed. This project is intended to support the efforts at IHS to strengthen core research competences in the field of environmental economics.
